About: Active Autowerke was born from a passion shared by brothers Mike Hugh and Karl Hugh. That passion: BMW’s. Their tuning hobby led to a legitimate business in 1981 at which time their motto was “Anything and Everything BMW”. Their service company grew quickly but by 1995 Karl wanted to focus more on tuning and performance. His Engineering degree provided what was needed and within a year the Active Autowerke M3 & 325i Turbo Kits were ready for market. Today the company reaches globally and offers services and a range of performance parts and kits, including superchargers, for BMW’s.
