Ogura

About: Ogura, a Japanese company, was founded in 1938 as a manufacturer of aircraft related products. Over the years they have progressed to producing clutch brakes for a number of products and industries. They also manufacture roots type superchargers with rotors based on the Wankel design as seen in the rotary engine. Ogura blowers have been used in Blitz supercharger kits and in marine applications such as the diesel Volvo Penta KAD43P/DP which is both supercharged and turbocharged. Ogura Industrial Corp., out of New Jersey, is an American branch of the company.
