About: California based Whipple Superchargers is owned and operated by founder Art Whipple. Art, a driver, crew chief, owner of Top Fuel Funny Cars and Dragsters, has remained active in the racing and performance community since the 1960’s. In the late 80’s Whipple made history as a leader by introducing the twin screw compressor to the North American market. Whipple was so dominant in the market that at one point the twin screw supercharger was known as the “Whipple Charger”. To this day Whipple is known world wide and continues to develop, manufacture and sell screw type blowers among other performance parts and accessories.
